The first design of wagon introduced in 1957 where the coils were laid on their side in a cradle. 40 were built. Initially they were uncovered, but for much of their lives they had a split hood, although the cradle remained in one long piece. During the 1990s some reverted to original condition without a hood, but with a cut out in the end for the unloading hook. Collection includes detailed photographs
