Late in life some were given an air pipe, denoted by the TOPS code MDW. Drawings and other details are in Larkin, David & Mann, Trevor (1983b) British Railways 21 ton Mineral Wagons. NOTE – The photographs with a caption ending in 'm' are low quality scans and may not print well. I will sustitute rescans for larger prints but this may delay production.
