The 'standard' mineral wagon on BR. Hundreds of thousands of these welded steel boxes with the most basic of brake arrangement were built. The difference between diagrams is only a 1/4 inch! In later years most survivors were either replated or received new bodies without top flap doors. Some have hangers etc for vacuum brake parts which were never fitted. Look for other differences!
