One of the few machines that worked with Skate skip carrying wagons http://PaulBartlett.zenfolio.com/brskate. It worked behind a ballast cleaner taking the ballast and depositing it in skips, which were moved back along the train - permitting all to be done on a single line. It had its own runner, converted from a bogie bolster E with 4 wheels and experimental suspension
