The Midland Railway and LMS had only a few tank wagons, however a number survived to have long and useful lives. Information published by Bob Essery has been used, but some photographs conflict with his records. It is known that the MR tank wagons received different second hand underframes at some stage.
This collection is dedicated to the late Peter Mallaband whom appears in the background of one photograph.
