All four pre-nationalisation companies bought, or had on loan, warwells. Some were converted to different styles of bogie bolster B, others were used to carry locomotive boilers. Includes tunnel inspection conversion. See also "MODA Warwells PFV, PFB and KWB" and the twin jib cranes DR78---
