BR built 875 China clay wagons (the first 300 were unfitted when introduced but vacuum brake soon afterwards). They replaced earlier similar wagons, and needed to be unusually small - only 16ft. 6in. over headstocks with 9ft. wheelbase and had an end tippler door. Ratio make a 4mm kit. 4mm Drawing in BR wagons repeated at 7mm in Model Railways vol. 7 (6) pp 308 - 314.
After about 1983 the remainder became coded OOV, but I didn't record this.
