British Railways built 1,950 wagons designated for carrying pipes and a further 50 for paper rolls, which were later designated as Pipe. They inherited the design from the LNER but most had a modified body style and there were 3 distinct brake riggings. Parkside Dundas make 4 and 7mm models. Drawings of two types in Bartlett et al.
