Bogie cement carrying wagons were rare, however Clyde Cement operated a fleet of 36 mainly to Clitheroe from their Gartsherrie Works at Gunnie, close to the Motherwell steelworks, as slag was used to make the cement. The wagons went out of use in the mid 1990s, the frames, bogies and numbers being used for bogie steel scrap carriers.
