A batch of 69 covered hopper wagons for lime to BSC Lackenby. Built on contract 40 by Standard wagon at Heywood in 1973, they appear to have been delivere with TOPS numbering. Perhaps because this was new some numbers appear in unusual places, such as central on the barrel and on the ends. Initially they were from Tilcons Rylstone quarry and later from Hardendale quarry near Shap.
