The fleet of 80 timber wagons were restricted to working from Marsh Pond in Bristol to Portishead. Photographs show them used for baled loads. Later they were converted, by cutting down the ends to work as under runners mainly for rail from Workington to Pre-assembly depots. Drawing on page 72 of Bartlett et al.
Timber P were built on the frames from Plate wagons at Barassie in 1966.
