Transfesa are a Spanish company that operates a large fleet of wagons. These have an interchangeable axle system so that they can operate through to Spain where the track gauge is wider. This selection of photographs is of the vans used to bring fresh produce and other goods to Britain beginning about 1960. Replacements began to be introduced from 1984. Although similar there are three distinct designs – with a plain end, with an end brake platform and with end doors. I have never seen the fourth type SFV 6009 which had an end brake hut.
