The AFP container was introduced in 1959 as a technical advance on the AF container. Heavily insulated they were used for Frozen foods. To make for more economical working BR converted Pipe wagons and longer Flat ED to carry pairs of containers. The photographs are a mixture of official and my own. The MacFisheries containers were repaints of the Birds Eye ones.
