In 1970 Standard wagon converted ex BR welded mineral wagons for ICI use. They were equipped with a fixed high bar and finished in the bright blue used by ICI Mond Division. They remained unfitted and were withdrawn in the later 1970s, none of these appear to have been TOPS plated. I remember them well, parked alongside the WCML near Runcorn as we swept past during the early 1970s.
