The LNER built 60 of CCT (C) 37 ft. 6 in. long vans in 1939 and BR followed with a further 57 in 1950. Atlhough NPCCS, with their 3 sliding doors they had the appearance of a LNER freight van. A drawing is in Historic Carriage Drawings vol. 3 Non-passenger coaching stock by Peter Tatlow and Parkside make a 4 mm model kit.
