In 1987 and 1988 Procor built 78 new box open wagons using bogies recovered from earlier tank wagons. There were 24 which had conventional buffing gear at one end only and automatic at the other. The other 54 were inners with only auto couplings. They were used by Foster Yeoman, Transmanche Link and others, but not necessarily together, but as fillers with other similar wagons.
