Four batches of PCA dry powder wagons were introduced for Rugby Cement, the first 25 in 1972-3 PR9400 – 9424 had Gloucester primary suspension, the second batch of 25 in about 1975 PR/RC/ML9435 - 9459 had noticeably different BSC pedestal suspension. Both the final batches had Gloucester floating axle supsension; the third of 6 wagons 10019 - 24 and the final of 25 10025 - 49. Several distinctive liveries, including having Rugby Cement on a board were in use during the 1970s and 1980s.
