Representing a batch of tank wagons for Scottish Oils, a subsidiary of British Petroleum, built in 1945, I believe by Hurst Nelson. These were not part of the joint marketing company SMBP. It is an early type of an anchor mounted tank. Unusually it was 17ft 6in long but on only a 9ft wheelbase which had independent brake. Registered by the LNER as no. 28311 in 1945
