In about 1964 BR Western Region obtained 50 ex MoD Warflats and converted them to carry cold rolled Coil, with two cradles, one of 10ft. 9in. and the other 17ft. 3in. Collection includes details. They worked widely on BR, mainly from the South Wales steel mills. NOTE – Some of these photographs are low quality scans (they have an [m] suffix) and may not print well.
