British Industrial Sands replaced the BR owned covhops (see collection http://paulbartlett.zenfolio.com/brcovhop ) from 1981 with covhops, built by Standard Wagon and Davis. Most have a pair of top doors, a few have a single raised door. They were used from Middleton Towers, in Norfolk. Note that books such as Marshall & SCT are incorrect in assigning builds to Standard, and what were converted to PGA.
