BR required tank wagons for many purposes - collecting spent oils, storing fuel etc. They acquired redundant tank wagons from private companies, including SMBP and in the late 1970s a fleet of Class B 22ton tank wagons from Esso and Texaco. A suitable kit exists in 4mm.
